A quote from the artist: "My turtle is a good metaphor for our insides. Some parts we like, some parts we don't, some we show loud and proud, others are muted or fade into the background.... but they all make up our true self. The good, the less good, the "ugly", and the hidden.

Lets all strive to be the most authentic and show all the parts so that no one has to feel like they have to hide. And lets love all our parts.... even the smudgy "ugly" parts."
